Easter Pics!

What is it about little girls and Easter? I just can't even tell you how fun it has been to have a girl. PINK! PINK! PINK! I'm a wee bit obsessed. After church, finding Easter baskets, and lots of pictures, smiling was not even an option. At least she wasn't screaming!

SO......this is a picture from Malia's sealing day back in December, but it is too dang cute to not post to the good ol' blog! I can't even believe that she was that large marge at only 6 months old! Whew! I love the chubbs.

Happy Lovers Day!

Cookie Decorating! Somehow I got it stuck in my mind that in order to be a good mom, you have to make sugar cookies for holidays and let your kids decorate them. Thanks a lot Jen! So.......this year, our dear friend, Anita saved the day when she brought Milo some sugar cookies, icing, and sprinkles for his Valentine. I can't tell you how happy I was! I mean.....I love making cookies and all, but SUGAR cookies?! What a mess! Milo had a blast frosting every last one. I don't think they are very sanitary as he shoved pink icing up his nose and in his mouth as steps one and two of the icing process. Do you think it's time to buckle down and get the kid's hair cut? Maybe.

Ok.....ok.......I KNOW that I should not be posting this because it is borderline rude to Malia, but you don't understand! I

have got to document her chubbitude before it goes away (I'm totally assuming it will at some point). Kelly says she'll hate me forever for taking pictures of her like this, but I say she'll laugh with us! We weighed her today and at 8 months and 2 days, she's a slight 28 pounds! YES.....my back is killing me and my biceps are rock hard (for the first time in about 12 years). She is absolutely the sweetest thing I have ever known. She has learned to copy cat (coughing is her forte'), give kisses, and clap. Love you little lady!

Milo still exists!

It is true! Milo is still a part of the family! I realized the other day that I had posted several pics of Malia but none of little Milo. Shameful! I LOVE this picture of Milo so much. You can't even imagine the stress of our photo shoot, but somehow, I managed to scare the living poop out of him :) long enough for him to give me a no tooth smile..........Thanks Buddy! You are my sunshine!

Proof! The girl DOES smile. She has been a tough egg to crack in the past, but she's warming up to us. ;) Look at that baby!!! I want to munch on her cheeks all day long!

It's so great that my baby is finally sitting up! What a great day in a photographer's life! I just HAD to take some shots. LOOK AT THOSE CHEEKS! :)
