Jesse 7 months!

Oh baby! I love this little Munchie. He is growing up way too fast. I just can't stand it sometimes. I made myself take a few pictures of him today. I should be way better at doing them considering it's only a few steps down the stairs to the studio, but I'm not. (sigh) Oh well....I did it finally. I just bought an awesome red chair today and will be taking more of him soon. Must get him in the blessing outfit!

Welcome little Alissa!

I'm so freaking happy for my BFF Niccole who just adopted this sweet little gal. After going through a failed adoption last year and wanting a baby girl so desperately she finally got her! She is a complete doll. Love her! Congrats Niccole and Chris. Love you guys!

EASTER!

These kiddos are killing me! They are so stinking cute! I just had to take lots of pictures. Don't you just love my barn door? I sure do. It will be adhered to my studio wall in no time. It's my favorite backdrop these days!

California 2011!

We had a great time in California. It was a week of craziness! Monday we went to Legoland where Milo officially fell in love with Legos. Tuesday we dropped kids off to Grandma Barnes and went to hang out in Long Beach with our friends, and to the Lakers vs. Jazz game in LA. Wednesday we went to Disneyland. Malia could NOT believe she met Snow White! She was in heaven. Milo got to ride Space Mountain three times so he was in heaven! It was a very crowded day but we got to do everything we wanted to. It was a great time. Thursday we went to San Diego. We crossed into Coronado and hung out there. The beach was cold and windy, but I could take the beach anytime......anywhere. That night we went to dinner with all of my uncles and cousins. It was fun to see everyone. The next day we went to my cousin's house for a bbq, headed to Balboa Island, and then headed to Vegas. Busy day! All in all it was a long, fun, exhausting, crazy vacation. Next time, I'm going to make sure that we get a condo with seperate bedrooms. I cannot believe how difficult it is to sleep in hotels with three little kids. Holy Hannah I was tired!

Happy 7th Birthday Milo!

Seriously? He's 7 years old? I'm getting so old......sigh. It was a great day. Milo woke up at 7:02 am (he tells me the exact time every single morning!). He opened Malia's door, as he always does, woke her up, as he always does, and got the party going! They started screaming, woke Jesse up (Grrrrrrrr....) and went down to Nana's for pancakes. Thank you Nana for giving Milo 7 scoops of ice cream before 8am! Boy was he hyper. After school we opened a couple of presents, went to Classic Skating, ate pizza in the car, ate dippin dots at Trafalga, opened more presents, and headed home. What a fun day! He said it was the best birthday EVER! Love you cowboy!

Randomness

Jesse is 5 months old! He is such a sweetheart. He's finally sleeping through the night. YAHOO!!! So freaking excited about that one.

These two are absolutely adorable together. They play together all the time. Milo's a great help to this overwhelmed mama.

Milo FINALLY lost his first tooth. Good thing it was BEFORE his 7th birthday! It wiggled and wiggled for days before that piece of pizza just plucked it from his gums! The tooth went up his sleeve and then onto the carpet. He squealed like a little pig and screamed: "I lost my tooth!" The tooth fairy was so excited to visit our house for the first time that she just forgot to come for 3 nights in a row. HOLY WHAT????? Who does that? LAME tooth fairy. Oh well. Good thing she made it all better by giving him 4 whole dollars for one tiny tooth! One dollar for every night she forgot and one dollar for the tooth. Milo thought it was great. :)

I have been taking a class for my studio lighting so have just HAD to practice on the kids. It's been good to have somthing force me to do it. You wouldn't think it'd be that hard to take pictures of my own kids with a studio in my basement but for some reason it really is. Maybe I'm just as lame as I think I am. Ya.....prolly. :) Well....excuse the lack of nice clothes and hair. These were all impromptu. Jesse is 4 1/2 months. Malia is 4 months away from turning 3 ( cry, cry, cry), and Milo is a month away from his 7th birthday.

Do we have a redhead on our hands????

You know...since Jesse was born, we've been wondering what color his hair really is. Sometimes it looks dark brown, and other times it looks red. These pictures might make me think we have a redhead on our hands. Sorry Kelly. It might be true!

Merry Christmas 2010

The kids had a blast this Christmas. Milo FINALLY convinced Santa to get him the Polar Express train. It's been a two year battle. Malia is obsessed with her kitchen! She specializes in making me "sgabetties with salt", red cake, and dr. pepper. What problem???? Jesse just took it all in.
