Another Photo Shoot!

Oh how cute these babies are! I've been trying to get good pics for my walls. I'm printing them 20x20 and putting them above my blank wall above my stairs. I can't wait for them to be printed!

All Grown Up!

I just look at this and cry cry cry a teeny bit. She is growing up. :( There are many reasons to be sad about that. She's talking a ton, throwing tantrums (as we call "tissy fits" or "diva fits"), and getting into everything!

Proud to be an American!

Just a regular day at the Allman house! Milo in his Army costume happily doing his homework. He has been in his cowboy get up or this Army suit during all of his spare time recently. I love it!

Kindergarten!

All I have to say is......What the CRAP happened to the past 5 years of my life? It went by too too too fast. I know I sound like an 87 year old grandma, but seriously? I can't believe my baby is in kindergarten. Wow....I'm getting old. :S

Mom....I'm doing it the way I want to!

I had to try out my fancy new backdrop on someone, so Milo won the prize! I think the only way he would participate was to be in charge. Oh yeah baby! He knows what he wants. This is his GQ pose he came up with all on his own! :)

Mmmmmmmm......Good!

I can't believe this baby is growing up so fast! She is already almost 15 months old. :( Most of the time I want her to stay little, except for when I'm lugging her up the stairs and into the house with 4 bags of groceries! Yikes!

I want to be a FARMER when I grow up!

My little Kindergartener :( is obsessed with becoming a farmer. He was invited by our neighbor, "Farmer Pack", to "harvest" some corn and go for a ride on his tractor. Milo was in HEAVEN! He puts on his overalls and farmers hat everyday when he goes to "work". It's pretty cute. That was some great corn!

Hurray for HUMMUS!

Our little Puffalump loves to eat. Shocking.....I know! ;) I gave her a bowl of hummus and a spoon and she went to town! Thumbs up for hummus Mom!

"Farmers eat lots of CORN Mom!"

Farmer Milo has been a farmer for a few months now. He is completely obsessed with farming equipment. We found this "farmer's hat" at DI (gross, huh?). He wears it all the time with his farmer work clothes (overalls). He was telling me all about how farmers eat LOTS of corn cause when they are out harvesting their crops with their combines, they might get hungry. SO.......logically, they eat lots of corn.

My kiddos!

Ok......I know it looks as if I just took them down to the studio, sat them down, and in one click got an OK picture. SO NOT TRUE! I can't describe the agony it was to get both kids to look at me for even one second. I am just glad Milo isn't pulling one of his all-too-famous
5 year old boy faces. You know, the bottom teeth inches in front of the top teeth, or the tongue sticking out, or the one where it looks like severe constipation is taking over. Anything but a semi-normal smile! Oh well.....I guess it's great to get anything you can get sometimes. I was in the studio with them for over an hour. Malia was whacking her head against Milo's, which made him cry. Her back was merely touching his arm which sent him into a fit. I just think I really do need to hire a photographer to capture their true personalities. I really don't impress them much. :)

oh dear!

OH MY! This baby is killing me. She is so cute! I seriously need to hire a photographer to take pictures of her though. It is MISERY to try and get her to sit still and look at me. I'm old news, I think. Here, she is wedged in a chair and can't move her legs. I'm such a mean Mommy!

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Oh my. :( I just cannot believe that she is already one. It seriously breaks my heart. I want to freeze her just the way she is. I just love her so much. She is learning so much every day. She's started talking so much. She loves to say Mi-LO! It's too cute.

Gooooooood Morning!!!!

Hehe! :) I love morning hair on little girls! It's the BEST! I remember my head hurting when I'd take my ponytails out at night. I'd have to rub and rub my head to make it feel somewhat normal. Of course, my mom used this nasty blue spray that she got at a salon, and it was liquid GLUE! She bought the concentrated stuff, so mixed it in a household spray bottle. Oh my....did it ever look like a bottle of windex! Yikes. I do not miss "blue spray".

Mom...I'm doing my own hair today!

The boy means what he says! He wouldn't let me touch it. Hehe. It's not too bad except for the massive, full swoop comb-over!

CHEESE!

It's pretty rare that Milo will even smile for me when I have the camera out. He really gets sick of me taking his pics. I guess he was in a good mood this day! What a cute boy. I can't believe he is already 5 years old. He's starting Kindergarten this Fall and I'm not thinking about it. It's tripping me out!

Seriosly?????

Seriously Malia?! Can you not just crack a tiny little smile for me? PLEASE????? I guess not! I have had so much fun making Malia dresses. Maybe because some of the size little girl 5 shorts don't fit her, and I really can't imagine buying my 11 month old size 6x. I remember my mom buying ME size 6x. It just isn't right. :o Anywho......what a sweetheart!

I'm in Love!

I am so in love with this babooshka! I just can't stop taking her picture. She is kind of a stinker and won't let me catch her smiling. That would just be too easy, huh? I will keep trying and trying and trying.

Ooooops! Poooops!

I just love it when you are giving your kids a bath and OOOOPS! POOOOPS! Eeek. It is so UBERgross. Milo did it for about 3 months in almost every bath. Thankfully, Malia has only done it once. It wouldn't be so bad if you just had to take the culprit out of the tub and clean it, but NO! You have to take the naked, wet, poopy child out of the tub, wipe the bum, wrap in towel, listen to screams, drain the tub, pick up the poo (ew....), listen to even louder screams, dispose of the poo (double ew....), clean the tub, fill the tub, breath...., put the child back in the tub, disinfect the child, hope the child doesn't poo again..., take the child out of the tub, drain the tub. Maybe tomorrow's bath will be poo-free! It did help to have Milo there to read a little story while I took care of business. Thanks Buddy!

EAT YOUR VEGGIES!!!!

Does anyone have any RANCH? This tree is a bit barky. ;)

Sweet "little" Malia hasn't been a smiley little thing until now. WOW.....she is sure full of herself! She fake laughs whenever she hears anyone laugh or anytime she sees Milo.

Easter Pics!

What is it about little girls and Easter? I just can't even tell you how fun it has been to have a girl. PINK! PINK! PINK! I'm a wee bit obsessed. After church, finding Easter baskets, and lots of pictures, smiling was not even an option. At least she wasn't screaming!
