I have an accountable kid. Does that make me more accountable too?
Milo's special day was wonderful! We had so many people support Milo. All of our birth mom's were there (photo to be posted on Mother's Day) and a birth grandparent of each of our kids was there too. It was incredible. We also had all of his grandparents, and a ton of other family members and friends. He was dunked times two because Kelly was translating from Portuguese to English and mixed up a word. When the witnesses let Kel know, Milo sighed a completely audible sigh for the entire room to respond to with laughter. It was dang funny!

Oh Jesse! What a funny little thing. He loves to giggle. You hand him a string cheese, he giggles. He turns the tv off while Malia is watching a show, he giggles. He digs in his diaper to see what he can find, he giggles. :) ew.

What??? Snow White bakes. :)

 

 

Milo and Jesse are little buds. They play together all the time. Milo is showing Jess how to play plants vs. zombies here. He's awesome at it.


Ok....let's get real winter. It's time to just go away. I know I'm being picky and all considering it's been a mild one, but I need sunshine. Maybe it's because we have been stuck in the house all week with a sick little girl. Things are looking up so maybe my next post with be full of sunshine!

They were the best of friends....they were the worst of friends!

Oh HALLE and MALIA! You two are funny little gals. So....for those of you who don't know....these two cousins are either completely silly and happy together, or they are ripping each other's eyes out! This was a funny moment when the former was true. Five seconds prior to taking these shots, the latter was true. They just can't seem to figure things out. They spend many hours a week together and act a bit like siblings. Oh they are just so funny together. Shay (sister to me) and I are good at just letting them work things out for the most part. Plus....we are getting pretty sick of playing referee to children. DANG that gets old super fast. :) Do you just love the way Malia's hair ISN'T done? She was ticked that Halle got to have her picture taken and just HAD to have the same "privilege".

Christmas!

Oh Christmas!!! I just love it so much. The kids had a blast! Milo was beside himself that Santa got him the TITANIUM COMMAND! He didn't care about another present one bit. After going to church, he didn't leave the kitchen table until that monster was built. Malia is such a funny little gal. She didn't react at all to any of her gifts. She just took it all in. She got Polly Pockets, pink legos, Purpunzle (as she calls her), books, barbies, movies and new pjs. Jesse was all about his new train. He was happy to get his other presents too. He got books, dinosaur magnets that are spread through my house at all times, and other annoying for mom toys. :) It was a fun day.

My Photography Blog!

So I've been needing/wanting to start this blog for a long long time but things have been a bit crazy. Well.....it's time. I'm finally doing it! Who knows if anyone will check it out! Who knows if it will bring me more business or not. Who knows if I'll even keep posting ;). I just know it's time. With my new studio up and running and with countless available babysitters I'm ready to get more serious about this little hobby of mine. Hope you enjoy!

Happy Halloween.........

Why is Halloween so awesome?! I love it. I love the craziness of going to the school to cheer on my kid in the parade. (don't love that I forgot my camera). I love the last minute costume changes. (thank you Malia. She was a witch until she went to the ward Halloween party and cried her eyes out because "I don't want to be a WITCH. I want to be a princess like all of those girls!"). Love the hectic dinner trying to shove anything healthy down the kids anticipating the overload of crap they would soon inhale. I just love it all! Jesse thought his costume was awesome too. He giggled everytime we put it on him!

Dont' think I didn't try to get Milo to let me take his picture. He refused. I kept the peace.

my new studio rocks!

I'm so happy that my studio is finally FINISHED!! We have been working on it off and on for the past year. That third kid of ours kicked my butt for a while. (really it was the 2 year old. The baby was great!) We took out a wall, framed in a new double door, painted, had hardwood floors put in, a bunch of electrical stuff, etc. It was a long process. I am working on organizing all of my props and getting all of my fabric backdrops stretched. Whew. Speaking of props....check out this gold stool!!! I am in love with it. It is my friend's. I am not giving it back. EVER. Oh crap. Just remembered it's a dang family heirloom. I guess I will give have to give it back. Grrrrrr. Anyway.....I love having the studio back and running. This sweet lil' darling in these photos was a dream. She slept and slept and slept. I propped her just the way I wanted her and just snapped away. Love it when that happens. The headband is another Cessalea design. (see previous post)

OH BABY!!!!!!

This baby is pure happiness. I just love him so much. I have been kicking myself for not taking his pictures more, but my studio has been under construction for a while. Friday was the day. I made an appointment with myself to take Jesse's pictures. I'm so glad I did! Thanks for the help Cessalea. :)

just a little update....

It's been a long time since I posted so I thought I'd do a small collage of pics. I have so many more but Activity Days starts in ten minutes and I haven't cleaned up the house yet. EEEEKS! Milo just started 2nd grade and is loving it. Malia starts preschool on Thursday. Jesse might just start walking Thursday too. How sad is that? :( I'll post some more soon.
